The Research Centre for Scottish Studies thanks Rosemary Coupe, author of Scottish Country Dancing in Vancouver: A History (Minuteman Press, 2016), for making her publication accessible here. Coupe's book, "records the foundation and early history of the 'Vancouver Branch' of the 'Scottish Country Dance Society of BC,' precursor of the present Vancouver Branch of the RSCDS." The text focuses on the start of Scottish country dancing in Vancouver in the 1930s and charts its history until the early 21st century.
