Molly McVey joined SEE in August 2021 as a Lecturer. She has developed a passion and expertise for student-centered, inclusive, and evidence-based engineering education that focuses on student learning and success. Team-based learning and near-peer student mentoring are a few of Molly's favorite topics in this area.

"I believe that student-centered teaching practices promote deeper learning for all students and a greater degree of success in engineering programs, which can ultimately lead to a more diverse workforce in the engineering field. An engineering degree can be a life changing accomplishment, and it is very important to me that we do not lose students who could otherwise succeed because they do not feel like they “fit” in the classroom, school, or in the field."
