SEE researchers receive the B.C. Knowledge Development Fund

Four research teams from the School of Sustainable Energy Engineering are recipients of the B.C. Knowledge Development Fund (BCKDF). The BCKDF was established to invest in and support the research infrastructure in B.C. by providing funding for public post-secondary institutions, research hospitals and affiliated non-profit agencies.

Recipients:

Colin Copeland, School of Sustainable Energy Engineering
Project title: Thermo-Fluid Test Laborartory for Optimized, Additively Manufactured Designs
BCKDF contribution: $100,000

Sami Khan, School of Sustainable Energy Engineering
Project title: Innovative multifunctional materials for enhancing the performance and longevity of CO2 capture and conversion systems
BCKDF contribution: $200,000

Gordon McTaggart-Cowan, School of Sustainable Energy Engineering
Project title: Sustainable Low Carbon Fuels Research lab
BCKDF contribution: $200,000

Kevin Oldknow, School of Sustainable Energy Engineering
Project title: Vehicle track interaction research laboratory
BCKDF contribution: $100,000
