Third-year sustainable energy engineering students recently visited the Seaspan Shipyards in North Vancouver where they observed how the concepts that they learned in class are applied in the real-world. During their trip, the students had the opportunity to explore the various stages of ship design and construction. They also learned about the practical applications of feedback control concepts in ship navigation and stability systems.

The SEE 342 course, led by lecturer Mahda Jahromi, explores the fundamentals of feedback control system design and analysis, including practical and theoretical aspects.
