Summer Camp Volunteer

SFU Camps encourages learning and skill development through physical activity, educational programming, and creative endeavours in an inclusive and positive environment. We provide student-centred leadership development and execute a program founded on best practice. During the summer, we offer a variety of programs that appeal to many interests.

SFU Summer Camp Volunteers help us provide a safe and fun environment within each program. They also act as role models for all camp participants. Specific duties include assisting instructors with the supervision of campers and coordination of activities. This is a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience with children and youth. Volunteers also acquire valuable skills through training, evaluations, and professional development workshops.
