Week 2Species, Speciation, Taxonomy Species are the fundamental unit of biodiversity. How do they come about? How do we recognize, name and organize them? The folder with the papers to choose from can be found here. We will look through them on Monday, and also briefly discuss all the readings from last week (Darwin, Schilthuizen, and Gaston if you have any questions from that one). The lectures are (or will be) here: 3_species_1141.pdf 4_taxonomy_1141.pdf Reading: Biju_Nature03.pdf (as an example of a taxonomic description). | |||||
