Week 6




Read your article. You should feel ready to say: what the study is about, what the results were, why it is significant in the field and why the public might be/should be interested. You might also pick out interesting aspects of the data collection, methods of analysis, questions that arose or anything else that kind of surprised or intrigued you or made connections you had not thought of. You'll be reading your article with a view to writing a report on its major points for a non-specialist reader: someone who is interested in science and has a non-biological university education. Your report will show that you understand the case that is being made in the scholarly article, the basis for the claims, and the implications of the findings.
