Aerial Insectivores

Over the past few decades a dramatic decrease has been documented in populations of birds that make a living by capturing flying insects on the wing. The CWE is gathering data on several species of aerial insectivores whose population size has decreased, including Tree and Barn Swallows, and eastern Whip-Poor-Wills.
