Our university-wide job posting board, myExperience, is the best way to promote your full-time or part-time opportunities, internships and educational opportunities to our students and alumni.

 

Posting Is Simple

Step 1: Login or Register for a New Account on myExperience

  • New account approval may take 1-2 business days. You will receive an email notification when your account has been approved.

Step 2: Post your job

  • Select the appropriate job board:

    • Career postings: paid positions, internships and educational opportunities

    • Volunteer postings: unpaid opportunities with non-profits

    • Experiential learning job postings: Co-op positions

  • All postings will be reviewed within 3 business days.

Step 3: Sit Back & Relax!

  • New talents are coming your way.

Pricing

  • A 30-day posting is $50+GST and the extension fee (additional 30 days) is $15+GST.
  • Complimentary postings are offered to:
    • Registered Charities with a valid Charitable Registration Number
    • Government Organizations (excluding Crown Corporations)
    • BC Public School Districts
    • SFU Internal Departments
    • Organizations with valid promo codes 

  • Extension service must be requested within 5 business days of posting expiration by calling us at 778-782-3106. We ONLY accept online credit card (Visa and Mastercard) payment.

FAQs

How do I post multiple opportunities?

We encourage you to post each opportunity as separate postings for better searchability. If your opportunities are similar, you may combine them in one posting.

Can I view or edit my posting after it has been approved?

When your posting is approved, you will receive an email notification. To view your posting, login to myExperience  (https://myexperience.sfu.ca/) and select the “Job Postings” tab on your dashboard. Select the “View” button on the posting that you wish to review. To edit your posting, select the “posting Options” button, and select ‘Edit Posting Details” from the drop down list.

IMPORTANT: Changes made to active postings will revert the posting status to pending and become unviewable by students until it is re-approved.

How can I see how many students view my posting?

Visit the “Job Postings” tab to see an overview of your current job postings. Under each posting you will see a “# of Views” column which shows the number of students have viewed your post.

Can you gather applications for me?

We currently do not offer resume/application collection services for career and volunteer postings (with exception for Co-op postings). You can specify your preferred application procedure (website, email, mail or in-person) on your posting.

What if I forget my password?

To reset your password, go to the myExperience (https://myexperience.sfu.ca/) Home Page and select the “Forgot Password” button under the SFU Employers login column. Follow the steps outlined on the reset page.

How do I change passwords?

Login to myExperience (https://myexperience.sfu.ca/) and select the ‘My Account” tab on Dashboard. In the “User Information” section, you can change your password.
