Associate Professor Elise Chenier spoke to CFAX on Sunday about the recent resolution adopted by the BC Law Society opposing the accreditation of Trinity Western University's law school.

TWU's application for accreditation has been controversial due to the school's Community Covenant, which forbids all sexual activity outside of heterosexual marriage. Opponents of the proposed law school say that the covenant constitutes de facto discrimination, while TWU maintains that the covenant reflects the school's Christian character.

Chenier, a specialist in the history of sexuality in Canada, discussed the social and legal issues surrounding the school's accreditation.
