Biography

Vinicius completed his BSc. in Physical Education at the University of Sao Paulo, where he worked as an undergraduate lab assistant in the Biomechanics Lab and in the Nutrition Applied to Human Movement Lab. Following his degree, he was accepted into the MSc program at the University of Sao Paulo`s Faculty of Medicine. During this period, Vinicius worked at the rheumatology department researching the role of exercise as a therapeutic tool, and at radiology department investigating muscles protein content via proton magnetic resonance. For his PhD, Vinicius will investigate the role of motor cost in guiding gaze behaviour during walking.
