Technology Entrepreneurship MSE 403 (1)

Introduces entrepreneurship tools and techniques for interdisciplinary student teams as the first stage of the Technology Entrepreneurship @ SFU program. Students will be introduced to practical and theoretical subject-matter in technology entrepreneurship. Through the development of elements of a use-inspired tech product and pitch, this course engages students in entrepreneurial activities associated with launching a technology-based start-up company. Students form teams, learn interdisciplinary empathy, practice needs assessment and product development stages, leading to a preliminary pitch to initiate their start-up venture. Students with credit for BUS 404 cannot take MSE 403 for further credit.
