Student Recruitment Ambassador and Information Assistant (SRAIA)

The Student Recruitment Ambassador and Information Assistant (SRAIA) plays an integral role in representing the University and serving members of the SFU community, including prospective students, new students, current students, parents and visitors. In various capacities, the SRAIA will represent SFU by acting as an ambassador, sharing their experiences, fostering community, and building peer to peer connections with prospective students.

Reporting to the Manager, Student Central & On-Campus Recruitment, the key responsibilities include: providing a welcoming experience for guests visiting Student Central (Burnaby) and Welcome Centre (Surrey) spaces, delivering and supporting the Campus Tour program as well as student recruitment initiatives and events, responding to in person and online inquires with appropriate answers and referrals, actively contributing to social media and technology-based recruitment initiatives, and being responsible for the maintenance of the Student Central and Welcome Centre spaces and supporting activities.
