Rules and Conditions

Parking is assigned each term by random lottery.

Applications are accepted for only one vehicle per driver. If a vehicle is entered in the lottery by multiple applicants, all those entries will be eliminated from the lottery.

Due to the limited parking available at Central City, you must be enrolled in courses during the current semester at Surrey campus to qualify for parking. All applications will be checked and any submissions that do not meet these qualifications will be eliminated from the lottery.

  • Parking costs $160.00 for the semester. This amount is $125.93 parking, 21% translink, 5% GST.
  • Debit is the only accepted payment for parking.
  • There are no parking refunds given due to violations on your license plate.
  • Parking is for classroom time, studying, research, social activities while present at the Surrey campus. There are no park and ride privileges to park at Central City and leave to go elsewhere.

Questions about parking can be sent to srypark@sfu.ca

Parking at Central City and all parking services are provided and managed by the landlord and its agents. Simon Fraser University holds no authority or responsibility for the use of the parking facilities. SFU or the landlord and its agents may refuse to sell or may revoke parking if any of the enrolment conditions or parking rules are not met or if outstanding violation fees are not paid in full.  I agree to comply with all Central City Parking terms and conditions and failure to do so will result in having the vehicle ticketed and/or towed at my expense. I acknowledge that parking is restricted to levels P3 to P4 of the parkade and the rooftop parking area. I understand that I am responsible for paying the $160.00 which includes 21% translink and 5% GST.  Students employed by SFU on a temporary basis will be required to provide confirmation of employment for each term.
