Yushu Zhu and Meg Holden are pleased to announce that work has begun on Community Housing Canada–a five year project funded jointly by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Working with a team of researchers and housing professionals across Canada, and led by Dr. Damian Collins at University of Alberta, Yushu and Meg are leading the project's cross-cutting thematic work on housing vulnerable populations. Over the next five years, the project will work to understand and support the community housing sector and SFU Urban Studies will ensure that the needs and realities of vulnerable populations are not neglected in this.
