The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF of Canada) is committed to expanding the Asia-related skills and knowledge of young Canadians.

Learn and Earn: Enhancing EDI in WIL

This project provides $1050 in direct benefits to Work Integrated Learning students once they complete the online Effective Intercultural Communication (EIC) professional development opportunity over 4 weeks in the Spring 2023 term.

India Student Mobility Award

The India Student Mobility Award provides financial assistance to SFU students undertaking studies or participating in an experiential learning opportunity in India.

One World Scholarship

The One World Scholarship is awarded to students who are participating in study, or work-abroad programs that are either experiential learning opportunities (language or cultural training), or that provide credits toward the BC academic credential they are working towards.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion International Mobility Award

The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion International Mobility Award (EDI IMA) is part of the Global Skills Opportunity, funded by the Government of Canada’s Outbound Student Mobility Pilot Program.

C.A.R.E SFU Global Travel Award

Are you thinking of working or volunteering abroad with a not-for-profit organization? C.A.R.E. Society distributes and donates Asia Miles points to make air travel possible for civic engagement, international service learning, and humanitarian work in developing countries and disaster areas.

Professional Arts Skills Legacy Project

SFU undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Contemporary Arts Internships, Practicums and Field Placements are invited to join Art Skills (Professional Arts Skills Legacy Project).
