Bearing bearing.il This parameterized cell is a journal bearing or rotary joint. Also known as a hub, a bearing allows parts to rotate in plane about an axle.
Gear gear.il, gear_dt.il This cell provides a toothed, rotating gear.
Hinge, Scissor hinge_scissor.il This parameterized cell draws a scissor hinge. The cell allows attached two structures to rotate, with respect to each other, either downwards or upwards a full 180°.
Hinge, Staple hinge_staple.il This parameterized cell draws a staple hinge. The cell allows attached structures to rotate upwards from the substrate in a full 180°.
Spring spring.il, spring_2.il This cell implements a serpentine spring. One end of the spring can optionally be anchored to the wafer. The spring is implemented as a number of bars connected on alternating ends. At the top and bottom of the spring is a "half-bar" so that the spring can be connected along its axis.
Spring, Box spring_box.il, spring_box_2.il This cell implements a simple spring. One end of the spring can optionally be anchored to the wafer. The spring is implemented as a number of boxes connected together. Although considerable stiffer than a serpentine spring, a box spring will not exhibit the sideways movement at the ends that a serpentine spring may exhibit.
