Dr. Blaber, the Science Neighbour (aka Dr. Andrew Blaber, Professor, Biomedical Physiology & Kinesiology) demonstrates the effects of gravity on the cardiovascular system including the brain. He presents it from the point of view of space flight and demonstrates blood pressure and cerebral blood flow changes that happens when you are standing, moving or hyperventilating. As well, some get to ride the spinning chair to demonstrate the effects of the vestibular-ocular reflex. Dr. Blaber explains how understanding what happens in space flight helps with our understanding of processes here on Earth.
