Our Work

The work of the Bill Reid Centre takes place at the intersection of the visual and material belongings of Coastal First Peoples, cultural heritage, and new media. Our projects aim to unsettle dominant narratives, re-examine previous scholarship, and question current academic and institutional practices. We are committed to listening, learning, and acting in ways that respect and uphold Indigenous priorities.

Our work ranges from creating access to historical images, to exploring the application of immersive digital technologies, and everything in-between.
