Biography
Linaldo Santos is a descendant of the Xukuru Nation of Pernambuco, Brazil, with mixed African and European ancestry. He currently resides on the unceded and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Linaldo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Diploma in Chemical Technology, along with additional specialized qualifications developed throughout his career in the industrial sector. He brings more than 15 years of professional experience across diverse fields, including water resources management, project management, chemistry, laboratory analysis, and cultural engagement through his expertise from the music field.
He is currently pursuing an MBA in Project Management and Agile Methodologies at the renowned Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). In his current role as an Advisor at the Centre for Collaborative Action on Indigenous Health Governance (CCAIHG), Linaldo works collaboratively with the Centre team to provide strategic advice, oversight, and project management across Centre-led projects, programs, and knowledge exchange initiatives.
