Diamond Family Auditorium at Simon Fraser University

This one-day meeting brings together a diverse community to explore recent advances, ongoing challenges, and emerging opportunities at the intersection of analytical sciences and nanotechnology. By fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue, it highlights how cutting-edge research is driving innovation at the nanoscale.

Attendees will connect with researchers, scientists, and engineers from industry and government labs, as well as academics—including faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students at all levels. Representatives from funding agencies, investors, and other stakeholders will also attend, creating a dynamic environment for collaboration, discovery, and networking.

Program topics include:

  •  translating nanomaterials from laboratory research to commercial products

  •  discovering new properties and emerging applications of engineered nanomaterials

  • advances and future directions in analytical methods for nanomaterial characterization

  •  the expanding impact of nanotechnology in life sciences, energy, the environment, and beyond!

The meeting will be held in person on April 30, 2026, with doors opening at 8:00 a.m. Invited oral presentations from leading speakers in academia, industry, and government will begin at 8:45 a.m. The program will also include student presentations and dedicated opportunities for learning, discussion, and networking.
