Arjun Singh

CITY COUNCILLOR, CITY OF KAMLOOPS

Arjun has a keen interest in good community conversations, strong democratic processes, and engaged citizens. He feels lucky to have worked on a vast range of community issues through in his work as a Kamloops City Councillor, Thompson Regional District Director, and Union of BC Municipalities board member. In 2018, he will mark a decade of elected office in local government. Arjun holds a BA (Political Science) from Mcgill University, a graduate certificate in Internet Marketing from UBC, a certificate in Dialogue, Deliberation, and Public Engagement from Fielding Graduate University, and a MA (Professional Communication) from Royal Roads. Arjun is a past co-chair of the Canadian Community for Dialogue and Deliberation (C2D2). Arjun loves his Rotary Club, his Run Club, fine scotch, fine chocolate, most of his local government colleagues, and his relatively new Nissan Leaf electric vehicle. He loves even more spending time with his family and close friends.
