Inclusive education in the Canadian context: An exploratory study (New Faculty Start-Up Grant, 2020–2025)

The purpose of the study is to determine a state of inclusive education implementation in BC schools. The qualitative research design involves a set of classroom observations and reflective dialogues with educators, students, and families to learn about their experiences with education and schooling. The study aims to inform inclusive education theory, practice, and support teacher education programming.

Lives in classrooms described as inclusive: From the stand-point of equity-based inclusive education (Doctoral Student Research Fund, University of Kansas, 2019–2020).

The dissertation study aimed to understand the roles educators play in designing and supporting inclusive classroom communities and the degree to which students have participatory parity in classrooms described as inclusive.
