Invited Conference Presentations and Workshops

In my workshops and presentations I try to honour traditional protocol. I honour place and the people gathered, the human and the more than human. Thus, my presentations follow the Indigenous knowledge practice of speaking from and to place. Often the presentation is in the form of a teaching story. It must be performed in the moment for the moment. It is theorizing in the moment, respecting the context or situated-ness of the moment in time and in place. I also play the native flute at such times as part of an embodiment of or honouring of ceremonies of renewal.
