Every year, we hold a range of events from R-workshops, pub nights, dessert nights, and board-game nights. All these events are a great way to socialize and meet other members of the student union (with free food and drinks!). Many of our events are in collaboration with the Bachelors of Environment Student Union (BESU) and Geography Student Union (GSU), so it’s a fantastic way to meet other students in our faculty.
We also hold several large events once a year including, a Wilderness First Aid workshop and a Reading Week Trip to learn more about the environment of our region and to bond with members in the student union. Previous destinations of our Reading Week Trip include Seattle, Victoria, Gibsons and more! These events are largely subsidised by the student union and SFSS to help make these events affordable.
Be sure to check our Facebook page or come to our weekly meetings to stay up to date on any upcoming events.
