Please note that being put on a waitlist is not a gaurantee that you
will be enrolled in a course. It is always a good idea to have backup
courses in the event that you are not successful in your enrollment.
Courses are typically reserved for students majoring in that subject and
other reserve groups requiring those specific courses. If you are not a
member of a reserve group for a course, you will automatically be put
into the waitlist when you attempt to enroll. While courses may appear
to have empty seats, the remaining seats may be reserved for students in
particular programs (e.g., CMPT, ENSC, SOSY, SEE). Out of fairness to
other students, academic advisors will not be changing students'
waitlist positions. We recommend that you continue to monitor the
waitlist and to consider backup courses should you not be successful in
your enrollment.
