History faculty has been recognized for their exceptional teaching ability for the fourth consecutive year.

We're thrilled to announce that professor Sarah Walshaw is one of the recipients of this year's Cormack Teaching Awards. Professor Walshaw teaches African history in the classroom and in field schools in Tanzania. She is known as a teacher and mentor who equips students with practical tools for future success; she views teaching as a collaborative practice in which instructors and students are both learners and educators.

Winners in past years include professor Alec Dawson in 2011, professor Jeremy Brown in 2013, professor Roxanne Panchasi in 2014, and professors Elise Chenier, Aaron Windel and Bidisha Ray in 2015.
