The Office of the Ombudsperson

The Ombudsperson can assist with fairness issues, appeals, interpersonal conflict, academic concerns and policy questions. Students are welcome to consult the Ombudsperson as a first step, last resort or at any point along the way.

If you aren't sure where to go, we can discuss any situation, identify options and make a plan for moving forward.

If you are an SFU student considering appealing a grade from the Spring 2020 term, please see the Student Appeal Guide
