Join us as we launch an exciting new school in SFU’s Faculty of Applied Sciences! The School of Sustainable Energy Engineering (SEE) is the first of its kind in Western Canada, providing an interdisciplinary education that will prepare the next generation of leaders in clean technology. Our goal is to create a program and culture where innovation and inclusion go hand-in-hand. SEE is housed in a newly constructed, state-of-the-art engineering expansion to the SFU Surrey campus, and the first cohort of students arrived in Fall 2019.
SEE embraces sustainability in its broadest sense as our overarching guiding principle. We endeavour to model best practices and leadership in the pursuit of ecological, social and economic sustainability, as well as gender equity and reduced inequalities in our operations, research, teaching and community engagement.
