Metrics for scaling up social infrastructure - Happy Cities
In the first phase of SUSI, Happy Cities conducted background research and a policy and data scan of social infrastructure initiatives. Supported by Vancouver Coastal Health, Happy Cities led engagement with several local government partners and health authorities, in addition to provincial and community-based organizations.
Metro Vancouver Community Services Performance Measure – Initial Steps: Summary Report - Andreas Gunster
Andreas Gunster, SFU REM student and MITACS Accelerate Intern with Metro Vancouver, commenced work on Sandbox #1. He collected municipal and regional data on parks and greenspaces and childcare and built a regional spatial database. This permits analysis of the impact of complete communities policy on social infrastructure across Metro Vancouver.
