Biography
Sheena is currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics Education at Simon Fraser University. She has a Master in Pure Mathematics and a Master in Educational Psychology. She previously taught secondary mathematics in Singapore and had opportunities to interact with both teachers and students across various levels through her work at the Ministry of Education, Singapore. Sheena's research interests include helping students to develop mathematical thinking as a way of thinking which can hopefully be applicable and helpful for their daily lives. She is excited to be part of the TILT team and honoured to have the opportunity to learn and work with members of the community who are committed to enhance the teaching and learning at SFU.
