LAURA WONG-WHITEBEAR

Laura Wong-Whitebear is a member of the Colville Indian Tribe. She a beadworker and an accomplished basketweaver,
using customary and non-customary materials. Wong- Whitebear is a member of the Northwest Native American Basketry Association, and received an artists fellowhip from the National Museum of the American Indian (1). At Honouring Homeland, Wong-Whitebear shared her talent for waxed linen basketmaking.
