All the data are exported form ArcMap and put into IDRISI to continue analysis procedure. Vector files are transform into raster file for spatial analysis.
This project will use Multi-Criteria Evaluation to determined the different degree of earthquake vulnerability in BC area.
DISTANCE module is used to produce a distance map from all hospital in BC.
All factors are standardized using FUZZY standardization. They are given values from 0 -255 where 0 means most vulnerable and 255 means least vulnerable.
BC territory is determined by ASSIGN to give value of 1 to all the land areas and value of 0 to the water bodies.
Decision Wizard is used to complete the analysis procedure. It gives different WEIGHT to all the factors and further produce final result.
