In trying to make sense of contemporary events unfolding in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East, journalists and scholars have not hesitated to draw comparisons between current political leaders and events and past political extremist movements. SFU history will rise to the challenge of providing historical context for our current political climate of extremism.
