Student engineers profit from prize-winning business plan

A trio of SFU engineering science students won the grand prize in the first annual New Ventures B.C. competition, a province-wide annual business plan competition designed to stimulate investment in B.C.'s technology sector. Frederick Ghahramani, Vincent Yen and Bryce Pasechnik, all 23, beat 173 contestants to win $50,000 in cash and services from the Bank of Montreal. They will invest the money in their new company, Air Games Wireless Inc., which creates wireless games and licenses them to wireless telecom carriers around the world.
