Dr. Costa Santos had the opportunity of explaining the importance of studying skeletonized human remains and highlight the pertinence of Dr. Hugo Cardoso's project.
In July 2017, Dr. Cardoso participated in a public debate entitled "Restless dead bodies: The ethics of circulation of human remains". This debate was organized under the conference entitled "Bodies in transition - Power, knowledge and medical anthropology" (EASA Medical Anthropology Network, 2017 Biennial Conference Network Meeting, 5-7 July, Lisbon, Portugal).
