Prepare to ship

In March 2023, the Portuguese funeral home Funerária Alto do Pina initiated arrangements to ship the unclaimed remains from Lisbon to Vancouver as shown in the PDF file below.
The remains of each individual were carefully packed and shipped in a welded zinc box. As required by law, each individual was shipped with the appropriate legal documentation for land and air transportation.
NOTE: Two zinc boxes contain the remains of two individuals each, making a total of 58 shipped zinc boxes.
