The European Forum for Restorative Justice

The European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ) is a non-governmental organization that aims to help establish and develop victim-offender mediation and other restorative justice practices. The impetus for the Forum's creation was the observation that European victim–offender mediation projects had seldom established contacts beyond national borders. Informal contacts revealed that practitioners, academics and policy makers were looking for a more regular exchange and mutual support in developing victim–offender mediation and other restorative justice practices.

Today, the Forum's primary aim is to support the development and establishment of victim-offender mediation and other restorative justice practices throughout Europe.
