and now:

Cynthia with her family - husband "Rob", sons "Cody" and "Dustin" and her Westies "Keegan and Brin".

When did you meet Thelma? 1980 - when I was a MPM student.
In what capacity did you know Thelma? I knew her as one of the members of the faculty of Biological Sciences. Always there to help the students whenever they were in need.
Where are you now? I have been a Professor at the University of Guelph since 1980. I reside in Fergus, Ontario with my husband Rob Dupree (also a MPM student), my 2 sons Cody and Dustin, and my 2 Westies - Keegan and Brin.
Wishes: My best wishes on your centenary birthday Thelma. Your dignity, grace and determination have allow you to forge so may new paths for women in science.  You have been an incredible inspiration to me during my career.  I cherish the chats and meals I have shared with you in the years since my graduation from the MPM program. I wish I could be with you during your birthday celebrations but I am in India with 24 undergraduate students from the University of Guelph - guiding them through an amazing 4 month adventure through India. Best wishes and hugs, Cynthia
