Where are you now? I am still in Coquitlam and am submitting a message on behalf of
the Canadian Federation of University Women -Coquitlam.
Wishes: The Coquitlam chapter of the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) was started in 1969.  Thelma Fnlayson was among the 14 charter members to establish this group.  CFUW has always supported post secondary education and programs on issues important to women who want to positively affirm change in society.
When SFU established the Thelma Finlayson Society in 1989 in honour of Thelma's benevolence, our CFUW Club was inspired to become a part of this and began working on an endowment fund.  We have succeeded in reaching an impressive balance with the SFU endowmnet over the last many years, and we honour Thelma as our mentor and inspiration for achieving this goal.
On Thelma's 100th birthday. CFUW Coquitlam wishes for her continued good health.  Over the last 45 years we value her so much for her friendship, her intelligence and her good sense of humour.
