Dr. Manmeet Mahinderjit Singh

Manmeet Mahinderjit Singh is a lecturer in School of Computer Sciences at the University of Sains in Penang, Malaysia. She graduated from The University of Queensland in 2012 with a PhD Degree in Data Security. Dr Manmeet’s passions and expertise is in the field of Information Security, Trusted System Models, Cybercrime and Mobile Security. Her secondary interest is in the field of Data Mining technologies, Sensors Network Security and Internet of Things Innovations projects such as Smart home and wearable systems and BYOD apps. Her passions within these fields is well demonstrated by her research projects, lecturing & tutoring courses and consultancy/training pathways. Among the courses she had provided training before is in Programming and Computational Thinking courses, Information Security courses (etc: Emerging technologies security) and Internet of Things hands-on (etc: Motorola-WICOM boards and Raspberry Pi).  In addition to teaching and research supervision, she has published extensively in the areas of Cybercrime, Information Security, Mobile Security and Internet of Things.
