Rachelle Louden

Rachelle Louden is a Master's student in Criminology at SFU. She is conducting research on technology-facilitated political crime. In particular, she is examining the role of disinformation during the 2019 Canadian federal election to determine whether foreign interference or criminal activity were involved. In uncovering potential criminal interference, Rachelle hopes to provide insight into politically motivated disinformation warfare and the impact it could have on Canada's democratic system.
