Tiana Gaudette

Tiana Gaudette is a Research Associate at the International CyberCrime Research Centre (ICCRC) at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and a Research Assistant on a Public Safety Canada-funded project exploring the landscape of right-wing extremism in Canada. In addition, she was a Research Assistant on a number of Public Safety Canada-funded and UNESCO-funded projects which explored ways to combat radicalization and violent extremism. Her research interests broadly include terrorists’ and extremists’ use of the internet, cyberterrorism, right-wing extremism and terrorism, preventing violent extremism, and research methods. Her work has been published in New Media & SocietyTerrorism and Political ViolenceStudies in Conflict & Terrorism, as well as in several edited book collections and the VOX-Pol Network of Excellence Blog. She has also presented her work at the American Society of Criminology (ASC) Annual Meeting, the Western Society of Criminology (WSC) Annual Conference, the International Network for Hate Studies (INHS) Conference, and the VOX-Pol Conference. Tiana recently earned an MA in criminology from SFU.
