Community Consultation
Members of the community are invited to participate in this important process and share with the Search committee the qualities, attributes and types of experience they feel the successful VPRI candidate should possess, as well as provide feedback on current VPRI Dugan O’Neil’s performance to date.
You are invited to share your perspective by December 15, 2025 through a variety of mechanisms:

- Mail/email: Please send to vp_search@sfu.ca by December 15
- All submissions require a full name and affiliation
- A virtual forum with Dr. O'Neil was held on Tuesday, December 2, from 1-2 p.m. Thank you to everyone who attended.
Collection notice
The President's Office collects personal information on behalf of SFU under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c.165), and in accordance with GP 29. The personal information collected includes your affiliation and your feedback regarding VPRI Dugan O'Neil's performance. The information will be used to provide a deeper understanding of the VPRI’s performance and influence on the university community. The information will be disclosed to the VPRI Search Committee and may be disclosed to SFU’s Board of Governors.
