Writing and Research Resources for Graduate Students

Student Research Commons, Graduate Writing

The Library and Research Commons provide many services tailored for graduate students and are working towards creating an integrated "Research Commons".  Initially, the Research Commons will be a way of gathering current academic support services for graduate students under one umbrella but within the next year it will also refer to renovated space on the second floor of the Bennett Library, specifically designed for graduate student use. The Library also hopes to develop Research Commons space at the Surrey and Vancouver campuses.

Shut Up and Write

A few grad students have put together a Shut Up and Write Vancouver group (see http://thesiswhisperer.com/shut-up-and-write). If you're looking for peer pressure to write, you can keep up with who's meeting and where at www.facebook.com/groups/535607973124942/
