Finding a supervisor

MASc and PhD program admissions at the School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering are faculty driven. Applicants must have a Mechatronics faculty member who is willing to act as their supervisor in order to be admitted.

You can start working on your application anytime. Meanwhile, please contact MSE graduate supervisors to establish a connection. You can find each faculty member's research area and contact information on our Faculty page, where faculty members who supervise graduate students are clearly identified.

Supervisors review applications on an ongoing basis when they are ready to take on new students. Please note that not all supervisors have the capacity to take on new graduate students every term.
