Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema

Capacity: 350-seat tiered theatre

Description: The Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema is a 350-seat theatre featuring state-of-the-art projection and sound systems.  The Cinema showcases student film projects, along with festival and community film screenings.  It is also an ideal space for lectures and presentations.  With room at the front of the hall for a small stage, the Cinema can double as a concert hall for small ensemble performances.

Note: There is limited space in the Cinema lobby for refreshments.

* Front of House Staffing – Mandatory front of house staffing to be quoted based on a full assessment by our production team.

Projection and Sound – Our state-of-the-art projection equipment is included with the space rental. Mandatory staffing of an SFU projectionist is required at an additional $43/hour (minimum 4 hours).
