The Study
Rate: $1300 daily
Located at the heart of the Burnaby Campus, The Study is a fresh location that offers style, comfort and space diversity with an incredible view.
Host your event, department meeting, lunch, dinner or reception at The Study.
This versatile space is available*:
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 6:30 pm
Please note: The Study is not currently operating as a pub open to the public. A booking is needed to access the space.
*For availability outside the above listed hours and weekends, please contact our team to discuss options.
The Study
Capacities listed are a guideline only. Please speak with a MECS event professional to determine what capacities work for the scope of your event:
- Up to 100 people, seated lunch/dinner on the main floor
- Up to 150 people, standing reception on the main floor including the mezzanine
- Up to 200 people, standing reception on the main floor including the mezzanine and lower level
- Up to 360 people, standing reception on the main floor including the mezzanine, lower level and patio (patio furniture to be confirmed)
Please note:
- Events excluding alcohol, participants of all ages are permitted into the space
- Events including alcohol, minors are only allowed into the space if accompanied by a guardian
- Events after 8pm including alcohol, no minors are permitted
- Furniture rentals permitted, please ask for further assistance
