Meeting Rooms
The meeting areas at SFU on University Drive accommodate groups from ten to two hundred for all types of meetings and conference events. All rooms have telephone and high-speed Internet connections. There are two lecture theatres suitable for multimedia presentations, a beautiful, spacious atrium, interactive classrooms, and a thesis defense room.
Grand Spaces
Atrium
The beautifully designed atrium of the SFU on University Drive building features bright natural lighting, multiple levels, and breakout seating in our treepods. Ideal for onference registration, refreshment breaks, or receptions, the atrium is a large, dynamic public space used by students, staff and clients of SFU on University Drive.
Theatres
1st-Floor Lecture Theatre
This 400-seat theatre features comfortable double-aisle seating, lecture tables, and controlled lighting. Built-in writing tablets make the theatre suitable for company meetings, panel discussions and seminars.
2nd-Floor Lecture Theatre
With tiered seating featuring full desks, and lecture tables, this theatre is beautifully designed for conferences, seminars, training sessions and lectures. Up to 120 people can be accommodated in theatre style seating. The theatre is multi-media capable.
Classrooms
Classrooms
Classrooms can accommodate groups of up to 120 people and are pre-set with rows of tables. Built-in projection screens are included. Data projectors are also available to rent.
Speciality Spaces
Thesis Defense Room
The Thesis Defense Room can accommodate groups of up to 14 people and are pre-set with tables and a lecture podium.
Studio Room
Designed for yoga or dance rehearsals. This rooms is also a unique space for casual meetings, receptions or pre-event gatherings.
