Zen gardener puts down roots among elite society of educators

SFU educator Kieran Egan's firm grasp of how cognitive tools shape children's intellectual development earned him two major honours in 2001. In addition to receiving a Killam fellowship, Egan was the only member from outside the U.S. to be elected this year to the prestigious National Academy of Education. Egan also garnered one of SFU's CRC Chairs.
